HeartFest is a one-day community celebration of meditation, movement, music, local vendors, and family-friendly wellness experiences hosted by the Heartfulness Meditation Center in Richmond.

Michelle Lee Landon is a Richmond, VA yoga teacher, educator, and founder of One Drop Yoga. Her HeartFest yoga session will offer accessible movement, breath, and grounding practices designed to help participants feel steady, open, and connected. Michelle's work through One Drop Yoga and RVA Outdoor Yoga emphasizes community, nature, and yoga that is welcoming to different experience levels.

Rizwan Ali, MD, DFAPA: Board-certified psychiatrist, educator, and academic leader with more than three decades of experience in psychiatry, medical education, and community mental health. Susanna (Sanna) Wu-Pong Calvert, MAPP, PhD: Social and spiritual entrepreneur, educator, and intuitive guide whose work blends channeling, tarot, and Yin energy practices rooted in Chinese ancestral traditions. Together, they will explore how inner stillness can support clarity, emotional well-being, healing, and deeper human awareness.

This guided Heartfulness Meditation session offers a simple, heart-centered introduction to relaxation, inner stillness, and meditative awareness. Hayat Bain

Hayat Bain is a Richmond-based certified Dances of Universal Peace leader and mentor, who will be joined by local co-leader, Melina Pelli, to share a participatory circle experience with movement, singing, live musicians and sacred phrases from the world’s wisdom traditions to create connection, peace, harmony, and shared presence.
